Hey there! My name is Brittany and I’m a full-time wedding and portrait photographer based out of Richmond, Virginia.

I started my photography journey when my son was born. I had a little pink point and shoot camera (ah, 2007 - am I right?) and I'd follow him around our yard taking pictures. As I got more interested, I upgraded my camera and started asking friends to let me take their pictures. I scoured YouTube for all the beginner photography videos I could find - learning all  about my camera, lighting and location choices, and posing.  Slowly gaining traction and gaining clients, I eventually had the opportunity to photograph a friend-of-a-friends backyard wedding and as they say, the rest was history. After 7 years I've finally found my passion and love in photography - and it all started with a little pink camera! 

Now in 2022, I have spent countless hours watching, learning, attending workshops and styled shoots, second shooting, and capturing over 150 beautiful weddings and engagement sessions. I have never been more fulfilled and in love with what I do. Finding something you're so passionate about and constantly eager to learn has truly been life changing for me and for my family. 

When I’m not capturing love stories, I'm a wife to my sweet husband, a crazy busy mom to four incredible kids, and snuggler of our rescue pup, Pippa.  I love endless warm days outside with my kids, a good date night with my guy at a yummy restaurant (we are trying to eat our way around Richmond), and a comfy couch to curl up on at the end of the night.
